Manitoba Horse Trials October Fun Show

Get ready for a day of competitive fun and spooky season spirits at the October Fun Show! Whether you want to test your skills by stepping up a level or just enjoy some lighthearted competition, this relaxed event offers a great chance to wrap up the season. Entries are officially ope! Grab your spot before registration closes on Sunday, September 11th.

Event Highlights

  • Featured Disciplines: Dressage, Cross Country, and a Horse & Human Relay.

  • Costume Contest: Ride in costume! Photos will be posted to Facebook, and the horse/rider combinations with the most likes in the Adult and Junior divisions will win prizes awarded at the Year-End Banquet.

  • Low-Stress Point System: Earn 1 point toward year-end standings just for participating (scored like a clinic, not by division placement). Riders are strongly encouraged to try moving up a level!

Pricing & Class Selection

  • Entry Fee: $100 (includes a maximum of 3 classes).

  • Cross Country Limit: Maximum of 2 XC rounds per horse

  • EV100: EC 2023 EV100 Test 1

  • EV90: EC 2023 EV90 Test 1

  • EV85: EC 2023 EV85 Test 2

  • EV75: EC 2023 EV85 Test 1

  • EV70: EC 2024 ICE Eventing Dressage Test B

  • EV65: EC 2024 ICE Eventing Dressage Test A

Requirements & Rules

  • Membership: Active MHT membership in good standing required (or approved reciprocity membership with proof sent to the Secretary).

  • Safety Equipment: Mandatory MHT waivers must be completed. Cross-country vests are strictly required while on the XC course—no exceptions.

  • Horse Health & Park Access: Valid Coggins test, vaccination records, and a valid Park Pass are required.
